Welcome to the official One Hundred Squared blog. For those of you who are not aware, One Hundred Squared is a volunteer organization dedicated to the idea that one hundred people volunteering one hundred hours per year can change the world. Our volunteer efforts will be aimed mainly at the alarming dropout rate in this country. If we are to stay competitive and at the forefront of today's global economy, an education is imperative.
To achieve our goal, we are using the "think global, act local" approach. It is our hope that as we begin the first chapter of this organization, others will follow. We hope to have multiple chapters of people around the world, all donating one hundred hours. If this vision becomes a reality, we will be in a position to better our country for years to come.
